The New Year festival is approaching soon! For entrepreneurs looking to source popular gift items during the year-end and New Year season, you must consider importing ‘jewelry’ as it’s a certain crowd-pleaser. Whether it’s for Christmas, wedding anniversaries, New Year’s gifts, this product ensures customers all year round.

Nevertheless, at MS, we provide importing services from China to Thailand, offering various services, including the crucial aspect of securing your products during transit. Therefore, we offer additional product insurance to ensure your peace of mind. Here are the details:

Liability for Lost Products:

During transit, in case of product loss, we assume liability in two scenarios:

  • For uninsured products, our company will only compensate three times the shipping cost.
  • For insured products, in the event of product loss (except for natural disasters like floods, fires, earthquakes, etc.), our company will honor the terms of the insurance contract. Compensation will be provided according to the agreed-upon terms in the insurance agreement (the insured value of the products must be stipulated in the insurance contract).

General Product Insurance Terms and High-Value Items:

By sea:

Regular products: 1% insurance of the product value.

High-value items: Products priced more than 10 times the shipping cost – considered high-value items – require a 3% insurance fee based on the product’s value.

By road:

Regular products: 1% insurance of the product value.

High-value items: Products priced more than 5 times the shipping cost – considered high-value items – require a 3% insurance fee based on the product’s value.

For fragile or easily damaged items, customers must pack the products properly. In case of damage under these circumstances, customers are liable for the products themselves.

Shipping Costs:

  • Charges based on the number of queues. Free shipping within the Bangkok metropolitan area for shipments with more than 4 queues.
If the above criteria are not met, shipping costs will be calculated based on distance and quantity of the shipped products.
  • Once the customer’s products arrive at our Thai warehouse, they must pick up the goods within 1 week. If the goods remain for more than 1 week, our company will charge a storage fee of 100 baht per queue per week (2 weeks = 200 baht/queue, 3 weeks = 300 baht/queue, and so on).
