Shipping by sea from China is the most popular method compared to other transport modes due to its cost-effectiveness and ability to transport large quantities of goods. This makes it a more affordable option for business owners importing large volumes of goods. However, it might take longer, approximately 12-20 days for the transportation process. Hence, it’s suitable for customers needing to stockpile goods, dealing with large-sized items, or requiring space for transportation.

Cargo Insurance Service

Cargo insurance is provided to compensate for risks and damages during transportation. The insurance rates are as follows:

  1. When the insured goods value is equivalent to 10 times the transportation cost, the insurance premium is 0.5% of the goods’ value for that round.
  2. When the insured goods value is 11-15 times the transportation cost, the insurance premium is 1% of the goods’ value for that round.
  3. When the insured goods value is 16-20 times the transportation cost, the insurance premium is 2% of the goods’ value for that round.
  4. When the insured goods value is 21-25 times the transportation cost, the insurance premium is 3% of the goods’ value for that round.
  5. When the insured goods value is equal to or greater than 25 times the transportation cost, the insurance premium is 4% of the goods’ value for that round.

Once customers have obtained cargo insurance, if the goods suffer loss beyond various disasters such as accidents, floods, typhoons, wars, tsunamis, earthquakes, etc., the company will compensate the customer for the full value of the lost goods according to the details specified in the aforementioned cargo insurance.

FAQ

Calculation of shipping costs from China to Thailand depends on various factors such as warehouse location, product quantity, and product weight. and the mode of transport chosen. In general, sea shipping from China is more cost-effective than land shipping. The initial calculation of shipping costs from China is determined by multiplying the product volume by the rate per cubic meter.

For detailed rate information You can find it in the section › Shipping cost calculation.

Especially for large quantities of goods or when high security is required, FCL shipping uses the entire container, which eliminates the need to share space with other shipments. This helps reduce the risk of damage and contamination. The goods are sealed in the container from the origin to the destination, allowing for better control of quality and reducing the likelihood of loss. This shipping method is also more cost-effective per unit when dealing with large volumes of goods. Additionally, the documentation and customs procedures are simpler, and the process is faster because there is no need to consolidate and separate goods. Shipments can travel directly from the origin to the destination without stopping at intermediary points. Therefore, FCL is ideal for businesses that require safety, speed, and efficiency.

Different methods of shipping from China have distinct advantages. It is necessary to consider whether you are ordering goods in large quantities or not. If you are ordering a significant quantity of goods, oversized items, or products that require substantial shipping space, choosing sea freight from China to Thailand is more suitable. On the other hand, if you prioritize speed, have a relatively small order, and deal with products that do not consume much shipping space, land transport may be more suitable for you.

  • Company does not accept the importation of goods that are illegal, prohibited, or against the law (please inquire with the company beforehand).
  • The company does not handle the transportation of liquid items, counterfeit brands, flammable materials, explosives, fireworks, firecrackers, ammunition, and products restricted for export from the country.

If the goods are lost or damaged during transportation, the company has two types of responsibilities:

  • In cases where insurance for the goods is not taken, the company will compensate three times the shipping cost only.
  • In cases where insurance for the goods is taken, and except for events caused by natural disasters (such as floods, fires, earthquakes, etc.), the company will be responsible according to the terms of the insurance policy. Compensation will be provided for all aspects covered by the insurance policy (the insured value of the goods must be specified in the insurance policy).
